As President of the Urban League of Greater New Orleans (ULGNO), I invite you to discover the rich history of the Urban League. Since 1910, the Urban League has played a crucial role in the lives of millions of people. We have fought diligently for equality for all people, by initiating programs to ensure the climate of injustice in which the ULGNO was founded, is never restored.

Today, the ULGNO is one of over 100 affiliates throughout the United States. We are completely dedicated to the goals of the Movement and securing equality and justice for all. While New Orleans has made significant progress in the years since the Urban League's founding, there is work yet to be accomplished.
